07/20/2026 – New model may help predict weight changes in children on CF treatment – Inability to gain weight can be a problem for children with CF. The introduction of CFTR modulators introduced a new problem of excessive weight gain. This study offers a technique that could help caregivers provide better management of weight.

07/22/2026 – CF patients, doctors comfortable with spacing out clinic visits – Survey results indicate that the advancements in CF treatments warrant extending the time between clinic visits. The survey did not cover related topics like virtual visits and remote monitoring.
07/23/2026 – CFFC 2025-26 Annual Report – The results are in for CFFC’s 2025-26 fiscal year. This summary also includes the formal financial report.
07/24/2026 – Scientists revive a powerful antibiotic that superbugs had defeated – Infections, especially drug-resistant infections, continue to be a significant concern for people living with CF. In addition to research seeking new antibiotics, this article describes an effort to update an existing antibiotic to overcome resistance.
07/25/2026 – Living with CF and pancreatitis: Izzie’s story – People unfamiliar with the complexity of CF may confuse “pancreatic insufficiency” and “pancreatitis.” The difference is painfully clear to individuals who suffer from pancreatitis. Izzie’s story provides a good explanation of the condition and its effect on the people who suffer from it.
