08/23/2026 – Comedy has helped me to process my life with cystic fibrosis – People find different strategies to deal with CF. In this case, using humor has also developed into a career path.
08/24/2026 – CFTR modulators may ease anxiety, depression in children with CF – Some adults taking CFTR modulators have reported mental health side effects. However, this study concluded that CFTR modulators lessened some mental health concerns.
08/25/2026 – Elizabeth W. – “Don’t stop living your life when crisis hits.” – This blog is a little dated, but the observations dealing with CF during the COVID pandemic are applicable to other crises that may arise.
08/27/2026 – Paid Research Opportunity – Pillar Patient Advocates is continuing to recruit aduts with CF and caregivers of adolescent patients for a paid market research opportunity. Here is their announcement: “Have you or your loved one been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and are currently taking CFTR modulator therapy? Pillar Patient Advocates is seeking adult patients and caregivers of loved ones under 18 years old to participate in a 60-minute phone/web interview. Participants are paid $200 in appreciation of your input and time. Be sure to include your phone number and time zone so a Patient Liaison can reach out to you. We will go through a few screening questions prior to scheduling the actual interview. 08/29/2026 – AbbVie CF Scholarships – You have a chance to help select two lucky individuals (one undergrad, one graduate) for $25,000 scholarships. Even if you don’t want to vote, the stories shared by the 40 candidates are awesome and inspiring. The promotion from AbbVie follows:
