08/15/2026 – Weight gain linked to lower inflammation in children with CF – This study identified a correlation between an increased Body Mass Index and reduced inflammation (both body-wide and intestinal). All participants in the study were taking Trikafta so it is unclear whether the correlation between would also be found in individuals who were not using a CFTR modulator.
