On Wednesday, April 7, at 7 p.m. ET, a panel of experts will discuss mental health in adolescents in the CF community. Community member Hema Patel will moderate a discussion with:
Adrianne Alpern, Psychologist, Children’s Hospital of Orange County
Eric Schleich, Mental Health Coordinator, CF Care Center, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital
Olivia Davis, adult with CF
Sue Sullivan, Head of Community Partnerships, will kick off the event. Parents and caregivers will learn about the range of emotions tweens and teens may be experiencing during this time, strategies to support their child’s emotional wellness, and tips for talking with their children about their emotions.
While this event is geared toward parents and caregivers of adolescents in the CF community, all are welcome to attend. Register now!
