Webinar: CF Research Progress: The Community’s Voice in Action

As a member of Community Voice, you know first-hand that community members are influencing the latest progress in CF research. The CF Foundation will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, December 10th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., ET called CF Research Progress: The Community’s Voice in Action to share updates on our research portfolio and a deeper dive into three studies addressing the community’s priorities.

To kick off the webinar, the above panelists will lead a discussion about how the CF community’s priorities are shaping the CF Foundation research portfolio, particularly on research to treat CF complications, and will answer questions from the community.

For the second portion of the webinar, these panelists will share updates on three major studies that are addressing the community’s top research priorities: identifying GI symptoms, simplifying treatment burden, and standardizing the length of antibiotic treatment for pulmonary exacerbations. Attendees will learn how input from community members influenced the design of these studies and how they themselves can become involved in shaping CF research.
