AbbVie CF Scholarship – The AbbVie CF Scholarship was created to honor young adults with cystic fibrosis as they pursue goals of higher education.
Angela Brooke Warner CF Scholarship – The Angela Brooke Warner CF Scholarship Endowment Fund was established to assist young people with CF as they balance school and work responsibilities with the demands of a chronic illness. The Fund provides an annual scholarship to a student with CF attending the University of Minnesota.
Anita Giampalmi CF Scholarship – The scholarship provides a monetary reward as well as recognition of efforts toward the achievement of an educational program at Michigan State University for a student who has cystic fibrosis. [NOTE: You must have an MSU NetID to apply.]
Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) hosts a range of scholarship opportunities. NOTE: Each of the BEF linked pages includes an “Apply Now” button that launches an online application program.
BEF General Academic Scholarships – The BEF has created a scholar-athlete award to assist CF high school senior athletes pursuing undergraduate degrees with awards of $500 to $2,000.
Bonnie Strongio Scholarship – The scholarship will be awarded to a person living with cystic fibrosis who, like Bonnie, has an upbeat personality and “can-do” attitude and shows a tremendous passion for life in achieving their goals despite battling CF.
Exercise for Life Athletic Scholarship Program – The BEF has created a scholar-athlete award to assist CF high school senior athletes pursuing undergraduate degrees with a grant to one female and one male of $10,000.
Jerry Cahill You Cannot Fail Scholarship – Boomer Esiason Foundation Volunteer Jerry Cahill created the You Cannot Fail program to challenge people to discover their own heroism, embrace the ups and downs of their life’s journey, make a difference by sharing that journey with others, and celebrate the stories that make them unique.
Rimington Trophy Scholarship – The scholarship was established in association with the Rimington Trophy, the college football award named in honor of BEF President and former University of Nebraska center Dave Rimington.
Rosemary Quigley Memorial Scholarship – The Rosemary Quigley Memorial Scholarship honors a remarkable woman who achieved her personal, educational, and professional ambitions in spite of the constant presence of cystic fibrosis in her life.
Sacks for CF – Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has agreed to donate $1000 to the Boomer Esiason Foundation for every sack recording during NFL Monday Night Football games. These funds will be distributed to 30 recipients of the Sacks for CF scholarship.
Scholarship of the Arts – Art is culture, Art is expression and the Boomer Esiason Foundation is awarding an annual scholarship to promote communication through creativity. Artwork in the form of video, painting, sketching, and sculpturing will be considered.
You Cannot Fail – Jerry Cahill established the You Cannot Fail scholarship to honor exceptional student-athletes with cystic fibrosis who, like Jerry, don’t let the disease get in their way of living lives filled with purpose, passion, optimism and courage.
Breathe for Bea Foundation – The Breathe for Bea Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by the family of Ashley “Bea” Briggs. It is her spirit and determination that has driven the Breathe for Bea Foundation to establish this scholarship program, as we want to help others who are living with Cystic Fibrosis achieve their dreams of a higher education too.
CF Scholarship Foundation – CFSF provides an opportunity for young adults with CF to further their education at a college or vocational school.
CF CareForward Scholarship – The CFCareForward Scholarship was created to honor young adults with cystic fibrosis as they pursue goals of higher education.
Dana Walters Scholarship – The Dana Walters Scholarship honors the dedication and commitment that Dana felt toward the educational process.
Elizibeth Lulu Foundation – This foundation grew out of the realization that many teens with Cystic Fibrosis need extra incentives to continue a course of education. The ELSF awards money to teens diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as an extra motivation to continue their individual educational goals.
Elizabeth Nash Foundation – The Elizabeth Nash Foundation was established in 2003 by her family to honor and perpetuate Liz’s lifelong example of giving and to continue her fight against Cystic Fibrosis
Marge Carmona Education Scholarship – The Bonnell Foundation established the Marge Carmona Education Scholarship program to assist students with cystic fibrosis who plan to continue their education in college.
Susanna DeLaurentis Memorial Scholarships – The Susanna DeLaurentis Memorial Scholarships are awarded each year to college-bound high school seniors with superior academic and extracurricular achievements who contend with a chronic disease or other serious challenge to physical or mental health.
