06/14/2023 – Barriers seen in accessing specialty care for CF patients: Study – Not all challenges associated with CF are medical. This study investigated impediments to obtaining necessary treatments.
06/16/2023 – Vicky and Sebastian – This story has two important reminders. One, individuals with rare mutations can be missed in standard screening. Two, efforts must persist to find effective treatments for those who don’t benefit frim current CFTR modulators.
06/17/2023 – Inhaled gene therapy improved or stabilized lung function in study – Although this Phase1/2 study had minimal participation, the results were promising especially considering that all participants were ineligible for current CFTR modulator therapies.
