CFFC maintains an e-mail list comprised of people living with CF, family, friends, care providers and others interested in our community. Inclusion in our list is voluntary. Names are added based on referrals, event registration or other contact with CFFC. Individuals who want to opt out can reply to a newsletter (or any announcement) with the subject “Unsubscribe.”
CFFC does not want to become SPAM, so we do not bury our contact list in e-mails. In fact, we consider this website and the CFFC Facebook page to be our primary means of communicating to the community. In that way, you can seek information on YOUR time line, not ours.
CFFC sends the email newsletter monthly. The message lists the changes to our web site over the preceding month. We also send periodic announcements of important events (such as CFFC Education Day details) and critical information (such as time sensitive survey opportunities).
We respect the privacy of the people included in our email list. CFFC will not share our e-mail list with any other organization or business. Further, we use the “bcc” field for our distributions so that addresses are not shared with others in the list..
