The CF Foundation recently provided an update on the following research trial.
Clearing Lungs With ENAC Inhibition in Cystic Fibrosis (CLEAN-CF)
This Phase 2, multi-center trial will look at the safety and effectiveness of the drug P-1037 alone and in combination with the drug hypertonic saline. Researchers will test the drug’s effectiveness by measuring participant’s lung function in addition to other assessments. This trial is for people ages 12 years and older. The trial is estimated to last 5 weeks. It will require lung function tests.
