The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has announced the 2023 edition of their ResearchCon program. Here’s the announcement:
ResearchCon is for everyone with a personal or professional connection to cystic fibrosis to learn and discuss CF-related science and care alongside others living with and studying the disease.
On April 26 and 27, 2023, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host ResearchCon for everyone with a personal or professional connection to cystic fibrosis to learn and discuss CF-related science and care alongside others living with and studying the disease.
Regardless of your connection to CF or where you are on your CF journey, you can explore your curiosity and engage with the whole CF community, including experts and peers. This virtual event provides a space to ask deeper questions and provides you with knowledge to better advocate for yourself, your loved one, or your patients.
By attending, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Listen to keynotes on what’s next in mental health research and care and how to address the emerging and evolving needs of the aging CF population
- Engage with clinicians, researchers, and members of the CF community during information sessions on topics including CF genetics, CFTR genetic therapies, advanced CF lung disease, lung transplantation, sleep and activity, and more
- Connect and share with other attendees through informal social opportunities, including small group discussions and a virtual water cooler
- Become a better advocate for yourself, a loved one, or your patients
- Ask your questions during extended, live Q&As
- Hear where CF research is heading in the future
