10/09/2023 – How I Navigated My Daughter’s CF Diagnosis – This story of an infant’s CF diagnosis is familiar; the part about being on the cusp of eligibility for CFTR modulators is the new development.
10/10/2023 – Telemedicine comparable to standard care in managing CF: Study – Improvements in treatment can be inspired by unexpected circumstances. While telemedicine was a necessity at the height of the COVID pandemic, this study indicates it has lasting benefit.
10/11/2023 – Finding a balance between working and caregiving as a CF parent – In addition to the physical stresses, CF brings financial stress into family life.
10/12/2023 – Synthetic molecules can ‘ferry’ mucus-clearing ions blocked by cystic fibrosis – This research (conducted in a nearby university) offers an alternative to CFTR modulators and, therefore, would apply regardless of mutation.
