SNAP Emergency Allotments Are Ending
The temporary pandemic-related boost to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, known as emergency allotments, will end in March resulting in decreased monthly SNAP benefits. If you also receive Social Security, you may see further reduction in your SNAP benefits because of a cost of living increase in Social Security that went into effect earlier this year. If you have questions, Compass case managers are available to discuss other possible options available for you or your loved ones.
