08/27/2024 – Cystic Fibrosis Trust publishes 60th anniversary edition of CF Life magazine – Cystic Fibrosis Trust (the United Kingdom’s equivalent of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) issued the Fall issue of itsCF Life magazine. A good portion of the issue deal with activities in the UK (which provide a global perspective) but there are also items of universal application. This article includes a link to the magazine.

08/29/2024 – Bacterial cells transmit memories to offspring – Most of this article discusses the research on E coli; however, the article suggests that this discovery can be applied to overcome antibiotic resistance.
08/30/2024 – We don’t need to ‘overcome’ a disability to be successful – The author of this article uses the Olympics to put “disability” into a proper context.
08/31/2024 – Vitamin D3 plus prebiotic improves CF microbiome diversity: Study – Not all bacteria are bad for your health; in fact, they’re necessary for good health. This study shows promise for building a positive environment in people with CF.
