Tee Up for CFFC

Here we go again – in a good way. CFFC is once again hosting the Living with CF Golf Tournament. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026. As usual, there is a mix of the old and the new. The key information is set out below or you can review the CFFC Golf Brochure_2026. You can sign up by submitting the on-line form below or mailing the entry form included in the brochure.

Let’s start with the old.

  • The tournament will be held at Southern Meadows Golf Club.
  • Check-in will open at 8:30 AM with a 9:00 shotgun start. Lunch immediately after play. Prizes at noon.
  • The play is a 9 hole scramble format with 4 player teams. You can sign up as a foursome (for a discount); individuals/couples will be grouped for teams.
  • There will be coffee and snacks at check-in. Lunch will be a buffet featuring grilled beef tenderloin.
  • Prizes will be selected from the prize table by the players based on scores. Closest-to-the-pin prizes will be awarded for the best tee shots on the 2nd and 9th holes. Hole-in-one prizes are available on all par 3 holes.

So what’s new?

  • Unfortunately, we have to deal with increased costs; especially, the food. To maintain the return to CFFC, the entry fee for 2026 is $80 per player or $280 for players who register as a foursome.
  • We’re modifying the raffle to allow a three-way split: 1/3 to a lucky ticket holder, 1/3 to the winner of the chipping contest (see next bullet), and 1/3 to CFFC. Raffle tickets can be purchased at check-in: $5 each, 3 for $10, 10 for $20.
  • We’re replacing the putting contest with a chipping contest. Raffle ticket holders will get a chance to chip to a marker on the 8th green.
